Vieux Lyon - The Bridge.

The bridge to Vieux Lyon.

Lyon is divided into nine 'arrondissements' and in the fifth division lies Vieux (old) Lyon. It took I and my boyfriend thirty-odd minutes to walk there from our hotel at the Perrache. We were greeted by this rustic red bridge called the Passerelle St Georges.
The bridge to Vieux Lyon. From this bridge, you were able to see the multicoloured houses that had been pristine yet untouched, a Catholic Church which stood tall and proud and the streets that stretched upwards and outwards, mapping out the rest of this beautiful landscape. Before this beautiful place laid a man. Burnt, exhausted and hungry from the blistering July sun.

Have you visited France? What were your insidethinkingthoughts on it?
