Flying.

Planes are odd transportation devices. We hurry in, find our assigned seats frantically as if it is first come first served (according to United Airlines) and then patiently wait till we are taken to our destination as if it were a car or train. Flying in the sky will probably be the closest thing humans get to magic yet we adjust to the context of planes rapidly. No one really knows how they work exactly yet we put so much trust into them taken us over oceans and lands. Our adjustment to modern culture is truly fascinating. 

Landing at Lyon Saint-Exupery Airport has to be one of the most calmest airports I've ever experienced. Unlike Gatwick, it had little travellers and noisy children however more police guards.
